The most expensive address in the Alps, and the only French resort whose altiport lands above the pistes.
See the chaletsCourchevel is not one resort but four, stepped from 1,300 to 1,850 metres and linked to each other. The name evokes 1850, its palaces, its starred tables and its windows, but most of the domain and some of the finest chalets sit below it. The skiing is the Three Valleys; the difference is the address, and it is paid for.
Four villages, four price levels, one ski area. The level you choose changes everything: the atmosphere, the access, and the bill.
The top of the Alpine market, without equivalent in France. Palaces, starred tables, boutiques, and the most expensive chalets in the country. Ski-in / ski-out across most of the sector, and the altiport moments away.
A step below on price, a few gondola minutes from 1850. More family-minded, quieter, and with equally direct access to the domain.
The sunniest aspect in the resort and quick access to the Bel Air sector. Markedly less expensive than 1850 at comparable standard.
The original village at the foot of the valley, with its farms and its Olympic ski jumps. The most authentic of the four, and the most affordable.
Market benchmarks observed across comparable chalets. In Courchevel 1850, expect thirty to fifty percent above these bands, which reflect the Three Valleys market as a whole. The rate we quote for a chalet covers the rental of the property; staffing and services are priced alongside it.
Courchevel has one of the few high-altitude altiports in Europe, above 1850. Arrival by light aircraft or helicopter, minutes from the chalet.
Two and a half hours by road. Chauffeured transfers in vehicles equipped for winter conditions.
Chambéry at one hour forty-five, Lyon at two and a half hours. Both take private aviation.
Direct from Geneva, Chambéry or the altiport. The most reliable option on high-season Saturdays.
Moûtiers is twenty-five minutes away, served by TGV from Paris and by the Eurostar ski train in season.
Passes collected, equipment fitted at the chalet, instructors and off-piste guides reserved, transfers timed to your flight, a table where tables are not given. The chalet is the easy part.
