The widest choice on the coast — because the fleet is based here rather than visiting.

The Lérins, the Cap d'Antibes anchorages, Golfe-Juan and the Estérel — all within an hour of the harbour mouth.
The deepest fleet on the coast, from 40ft to 250ft, with the option to visit the yacht before signing — rare elsewhere, routine here.
Antibes is the technical capital of Mediterranean yachting. Provisioning, crew placement and shore logistics are handled locally rather than remotely.
✦ Our Commitment ✦
Chartering from the port where the fleet is based changes what is possible — in choice, in inspection, and in the speed of solving anything that goes wrong.
Most of the Mediterranean fleet is berthed or in refit here. We arrange viewings on board, which almost no other port on the coast allows at scale.
From 40ft open boats to the Quai des Milliardaires. If a yacht exists on this coast for your dates, it is findable from Antibes.
Antibes is where crews live between charters. We place vessels on the strength of the captain and chef, not the brochure.

✦ Expert Guide ✦
Day Charter
Thirty minutes west lie Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat — shallow, protected, and quiet by six in the evening once the day boats have gone. Ten minutes south, the eastern anchorages of the Cap d’Antibes are calm in a westerly and deep close in. Between the two, it is the best short cruising ground on the Riviera. Our day cruise itineraries set out the routes.
Port Vauban
The deep-water quay at the eastern end of Port Vauban takes the largest private yachts afloat, and berths there are allocated well ahead of the season. For charters at that scale the berth is arranged in parallel with the vessel, not after it.
Extended
East to Villefranche and the Italian border, west to the Estérel, Saint-Tropez and the Hyères islands. Antibes sits close enough to the middle of the coast that no direction costs you a day. For longer routing, see our itinerary from Saint-Tropez to Portofino.
Families
The short legs and flat anchorages around Antibes make it the most forgiving base on the coast for a family charter. Netting, cabin adjacency and the right toys are agreed before embarkation — the detail is in our note on chartering with children.
✦ Planning ✦
The fleet is on the coast and not yet committed. The best window to view yachts on board and to negotiate dates for the summer.
Peak charter season across the whole fleet. The Lérins and Golfe-Juan anchorages are busy by eleven — we plan the mornings accordingly.
The warmest sea of the year and a coast that has emptied. September is the strongest charter month on this part of the Riviera.
✦ FAQ ✦
Because the fleet is based here. Port Vauban is the largest marina in Europe and much of the Mediterranean charter fleet berths, refits and crews in Antibes. That means more choice, the ability to view a yacht on board before signing, and shore support that is local rather than remote.
In Antibes, usually yes — and we recommend it. Outside the peak weeks most vessels on our shortlists can be seen within a day or two. Twenty minutes on board settles questions about ceiling heights, cabin layout and the feel of the crew that no brochure answers.
Around thirty minutes. Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat sit in shallow protected water and make the natural first anchorage of any charter from Antibes. The eastern anchorages of the Cap d’Antibes are closer still, roughly ten minutes from the harbour mouth.
The deep-water quay takes the largest yachts afloat and its berths are allocated well in advance. For charters at that scale we arrange the berth in parallel with the vessel rather than afterwards, and the lead time is months rather than weeks.
It is the most forgiving base on the coast. Passages are short, the anchorages are flat, and the shore is always an option. We ask about ages at the shortlist stage because guardrail netting and cabin adjacency decide which yachts are suitable.
