Courchevel celebrates its 80th winter in 2026–27. The ski area is scheduled to open on 4 December 2026 and to close on 18 April 2027, with a calendar of races and festivities that gives each part of the season its own character.
The highlight before Christmas is the Women's Alpine Ski World Cup night slalom on 22 December 2026, at the Émile-Allais stadium. In January, the Ski Mountaineering World Cup stops at Le Praz (14–16 January 2027); the spring brings the Winter Legacy race created by Alexis Pinturault and a closing weekend of music on the slopes.
