The Monaco Yacht Show is the industry's single defining week. For four days at the end of September, Port Hercule holds the largest gathering of superyachts anywhere in the world, and the Principality operates at a density it reaches at no other point in the calendar apart from the Grand Prix.
It is also the hardest week of the year to arrange late. Berths are allocated far in advance, hotel inventory in Monaco is committed by spring, restaurant tables are held by exhibitors, and the villas on the surrounding coast that can absorb a delegation are taken by the previous autumn.
Opera Prestige arranges the whole of it — charter yachts as hospitality platforms, houses along the coast from Cap Ferrat to Roquebrune, drivers who know the closures, and the tables that are not available by telephone in September.

Show Week Services

Charter & Berths

Charter vessels for the week, with berthing in Port Hercule where allocation permits and nearby ports where it does not.

Villas & Accommodation

Houses from Cap Ferrat to the Italian border, staffed and catered, for delegations that a hotel cannot hold together.

Arrival & Movement

Seven minutes by helicopter from Nice, and drivers who know which roads close and when. See private aviation.

Our Commitment

Monaco Yacht Show — Opera Prestige Advantage

Show week is not arranged; it is reserved. Everything that matters is committed months before the doors open.

  • 01

    A Year Ahead

We hold options on berths, houses and vehicles from the previous autumn. Enquiries in August are, in practice, enquiries for next year.

  • 02

    The Tables

Restaurant capacity in Monaco during the Show is held by exhibitors. Ours are reserved in spring and held in our name.

  • 03

    Off-Principality Bases

When Monaco is full — and it is — the coast from Cap Ferrat to Roquebrune is fifteen minutes away and considerably more comfortable.

  • 04

    One Coordinator

Yacht, house, drivers, aviation and tables held by a single contact through our concierge team.

Expert Guide

Attending the Monaco Yacht Show

01

The Week

What Actually Happens

Four days at the end of September, with Port Hercule and Darse Sud given over entirely to the exhibition. The days belong to the docks; the evenings belong to the owners’ dinners and the private receptions along the coast, which is where the week is genuinely decided.

02

Basing

In Monaco or on the Coast

The Principality has finite inventory and it is committed by spring. Most of our clients base fifteen to thirty minutes away — Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, Eze, Roquebrune — with a driver and a fixed evening pattern. The stretch is covered in our guide to Eze and Villefranche.

03

Chartering

A Yacht for Show Week

Chartering during the Show turns the vessel into a hospitality platform: your own deck for meetings, your own chef, and no dependence on a table. Berthing inside Port Hercule is exceptional and allocated far ahead; nearby ports and anchorages are the realistic alternative. The mechanics are in our note on how a charter is arranged.

04

After

The Week That Follows

Late September and early October are the warmest water of the year on this coast, and the fleet disperses immediately after the Show. Extending three or four days either side turns a working week into the best charter fortnight of the season — see our Riviera season calendar.

Planning

Planning the Show

Oct – Dec

Twelve Months Out

Berths, the largest charter vessels and the houses that hold a delegation are secured now, for the following September.

Jan – Mar

Six Months Out

Remaining charter inventory, villas on the coast, drivers and restaurant tables. The last realistic window for a full arrangement.

Jun – Aug

Late

Day attendance with aviation and a lunch table remains possible. Berths, large yachts and Monaco accommodation do not.
