The French Riviera is a coast of short distances and long journeys. Twelve kilometres separate Cannes from Antibes and, on an afternoon in August, forty minutes separate them too. A chauffeur is not a convenience here — it is the mechanism by which a stay stops being a series of logistical decisions and becomes a sequence of arrivals.
Opera Prestige places drivers we know personally, working under confidentiality undertakings, in vehicles chosen for discretion rather than display. They hold the day's diary alongside our concierge team: the tender that leaves the port at nine, the table held at one, the flight that departs at six, and the fifteen minutes of margin that make all three possible.
The service runs from a single transfer to a driver retained for the length of a stay, and it is coordinated with the villa, the yacht and the aviation as one continuous itinerary rather than as separate bookings.

Arrivals
From the Aircraft to the House
Nice Côte d’Azur is the principal gateway of the coast, ten to fifteen minutes from the city and twenty-five from Cannes outside peak hours. Cannes–Mandelieu handles light aircraft closer to the western Riviera. In both cases the transfer begins before the aircraft lands: we track the arrival, adjust the pickup, and the luggage is in the vehicle before the party reaches it.

The Coast Road
Timing, Which Is Everything
Distances here are deceptive. Cannes to Saint-Tropez is ninety minutes in May and can be three hours on an August Saturday; the Basse Corniche between Nice and Monaco is slow from late afternoon. Our drivers plan against the hour and the calendar — Grand Prix week, Film Festival week and 15 August each have their own rules.

Where Protection Is Warranted

Chauffeur Services — FAQ
Broadly €450 to €900 per day with vehicle, depending on the class of car, the hours covered and the season. A retained driver for a full week is quoted as a package. Airport transfers alone are priced per journey.
Yes. We place drivers we know personally, referenced and working under confidentiality undertakings covering photography, social media and the fact of your presence. Security-trained drivers from French-licensed firms are available where the situation warrants it.
It is the arrangement we recommend for stays of a week or more. A retained driver works from the same diary as the house manager and the yacht crew, learns the pattern of the week, and stops needing instructions by about the third day.
Two to three weeks in ordinary periods. For the Cannes Film Festival, the Monaco Grand Prix and the first fortnight of August, drivers are committed months ahead and late requests are frequently impossible to satisfy at this standard.
That is the point of the service. Car, helicopter, jet and tender are handled as a single arrival or departure sequence through our concierge team, so a delay in one leg adjusts the others automatically.
